About Us

Mr. Winterhalder graduated as a 1985 graduate of San Diego State University with a bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering. After graduation Mr. Winterhalder started his career with the Naval Electronic Engineering Systems Center (NAVALEX) in San Diego where he was employed as an electronics engineer. Mr. Winterhalder finished his twenty year government career at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center in San Diego (SPAWAR) as a senior network engineer for the Network Implementation Branch. His duties included serving as lead engineer for the design, installation, configuration and support of US Navy, Microsoft Windows based, IT21/ISNS classified/unclassified shipboard and submarine network installations and HP Unix based, GCCS-M (Global Command Control Maritime) Systems.

Key career milestones include performing duties as lead Navy Technical Representative for the Navy's initial aircraft carrier based IT21 (Information Technology 21st Century) program installation aboard the USS Kitty Hawk and serving as an assistant program manager for a foreign military sales program with the UK Royal Navy.

In 1999 Mr. Winterhalder founded EDL Solutions and has served as its president since its incorporation in 2001. Through the course of his career Mr. Winterhalder has attained numerous computer and networking related certifications including certifications from Microsoft and Cisco Systems. In addition to formal education these certifications and extensive experience give a Mr. Winterhalder high level of expertise and a broad knowledge base to draw from.
